The second heat of the Dutch GRC saw a few less players than the
first. Among the absentees were regulars like Kurt Van den Branden,
Rita Pauwels, Jelmer Graafstra and Ad Rovers. Nevertheless, the
competition was fierce. The dutch players seem to have developed
their own style, for none of them played with more than two Gipfs!
To no avail, however: once more the title went to one of the Belgians.
Jix Demerco was the winner with 5 wins in a row. Patrick Van de
Perre became second with 4 wins. Boris Ammerlaan and Angelo Wentzler
shared the third place with 3 points each.
Patrick van de Perre - coming in second after having won the first
heat - has taken the lead in the overall standings.
